Kitchen Painting and 23 Week Picture

These decorations were on each corner of our bathroom mirror. Yuck.

Here is my 23 week (and 1 day) picture taken on Friday, January 30th...in the past few weeks my belly has popped out a little more and people are asking me if I'm pregnant. I guess before they thought maybe I just had a little too much to eat during the holidays!

This is the "after" of our kitchen wall. We still have one tiny part of the walls to finish up but we'll have lots of leftover paint so we're going to use this color in the nursery too.

Even though you really can't tell in this picture, Melvin somehow ended up with ceiling paint all over him and we're not really sure how it happened. It's a good thing Meiko is great at cleaning because she licked Melvie until he was all cleaned up.

This is the "before" of our kitchen wall. My parents and Martin helped remove all the floral wallpaper that was on there. Under the wall primer, the walls were painted pink....the previous owners really loved pink!

Ultrasound Pictures!

Today we had the ultrasound and the doctor says everything looks great. The baby is 15 ounces and had a heart rate of between 146 - 158 bpm (it was moving around a lot towards the end of the appointment). Martin was trying to convince me while we waited for the appointment to let him find out if it's a boy or girl and he'd keep it a surprise, but I resisted the urge so it's still a mystery. The ultrasound tech was very good about taking pictures that didn't reveal too much. Looking at the leg profile, it appears that Baby Brash is going to have my legs - Martin calls them linebacker legs!

Happy New Year!

January 1st markes my 19th week of pregnancy...the Brash Bun is almost half baked :)
Here's some pictures from Christmas - we spent it here in Bismarck and had a great time. On Christmas Eve the Jacobson clan came over for oyster stew, potato soup, and a few games of Flinch. My uncle and parents stayed in town for a few days and it was nice to have everyone over! Happy New Year everyone!!!
